The rumor have now been confirmed and purist everywhere are upset, Ferrari is coming out with Hybrid.   The European patent office is filing for a “4wd drive system with hybrid propulsion” from Ferrari.  Now, I am getting excited about this.

Most likely the hybrid will be based off of the Ferrari 599 that was unveiled in 2006.  How they are going to achieve their goal of a supercar hybrid is still yet to be determined but if one car can pull it off, my money is on Ferrari.
